After The Rain: Putin’s Stolen Children Come Home
Synopsis
Deep in a forest by the Baltic Sea, a group of Ukrainian families come together to start the healing process with the help of golden retrievers and palomino horses at an animal therapy retreat. In the safety of the forest, the children’s memories of being illegally deported to Russia and their families’ struggles to rescue them are unravelled with the help of skilled and sensitive counsellors. The joy and humour the children discover during their time in the forest make it easy to forget that their stories are the reason the International Criminal Court recently issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin. Nearly 20,000 abducted children remain in Russian institutions.

Midas Man
Synopsis
Midas Man will be the definitive telling of an extraordinary life. The first, last and most respectful cinematic portrait ever painted of Brian Epstein. And one which helps him achieve something he dreamed of in life, but never achieved: to become a star of the silver screen. Midas Man charts the life of a man who often struggled to find his place in the world. Yet who is today universally recognised as the creator of the blueprint for music artist management. The figure with a finger on the very pulse of the Swinging Sixties. The film spans a period of extraordinary cultural change and convulsion. From desolate streets of wartime Liverpool to the psychedelic haze of Abbey Road. The man The Beatles called ‘One of us.’ Our Eppy.

Sky Trembles and the Earth Is Afraid and the Two Eyes Are Not Brothers
Synopsis
At the heart of the film's multiple narratives is an adaptation of A Distant Episode, the savage short story set in Morocco by American author Paul Bowles, first published in 1947. Moving between documentary, fiction and fable, "The Sky Trembles and the Earth Is Afraid and the Two Eyes Are Not Brothers" observes its protagonist, filmmaker Oliver Laxe, directing his own film Las Mimosas in Morocco, only to walk off set and into Rivers' narrative. Shot against the staggering beauty of the Moroccan landscape, from the rugged terrain of the Atlas Mountains to the stark and surreal emptiness of the Sahara, with its encroaching sands and abandoned film sets, Laxe is drawn into a hallucinatory and perilous adventure of cruelty and madness to form a multi-layered excavation into the illusion of cinema itself.
