Björk’s Cornucopia Concert Film coming to theaters

February 24, 2025

Björk’s critically acclaimed Cornucopia tour has been adapted into a concert film, available for streaming now on Apple Music and set to make its theatrical debut in select theaters this March.

Björk’s intentions and vision for the tour were based around ecological, societal, and the emotional themes, “The story’s being told in an abstract way in the film. It’s more talking about the whole world,”. The concert concludes with a message from Greta Thunberg, “I’m here to tell you that change is coming, whether they like it or not, the real power belongs to the people.”

Filmed in Lisbon by Ísold Uggadóttir, the concert features otherworldly digital artistry, created by Tobias Gremmler, sculptural costumes by Olivier Rousteing, and fungi-inspired props by Chiara Stephenson.

Cornucopia also features Bjork’s collaboration with the seven-member women’s flute ensemble, Viibra, and the Hamrahlid Choir, conducted by Þorgerður Ingólfsdóttir.

The concert film was produced by Kat Mansoor of Snowstorm Productions and Sara Nassim, with Emma Norton as Production Manager.

We loved working on this unique and complex project. Jade Townsend was the OnSight Post Producer, with Senior Colourist Andy Lee, Online Editors Adam Sample and Andrew Fisun all lending their hand on bringing the film to the screen.
