Concert Film ‘Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration’, Directed by Sam Wrench

The concert film is produced by Mercury Studios, Maverick, and Impact Productions. It is directed by Grammy-nominee and Emmy Award-winner Sam Wrench, who recently directed Taylor Swift – The Eras Tour, the highest grossing concert film of all time. He has also created live performance films with Billie Eilish, Lizzo, BTS, The Weeknd, and more. It’s produced by Jane Fraser, Jamie Silk, and Jim Parsons, with Nick Wheeler as Director Of Photography. Executive producers are Alice Webb, Kelly Sweeney, Matthew Crouch, Tom Newman, Veronica Berti, Andrea Bocelli, Francesco Pasquero and Scott Rodger.
The film, which follows Bocelli through a three-day concert event at the Teatro del Silenzo in Lajatico, Italy, was filmed in July to celebrate his 30th anniversary in music, and was attended by more than 30,000 guests from around the world.
Ed Sheeran, Shania Twain, Jon Batiste, Russell Crowe, Sofia Vergara, Brian May, David Foster, Christian Nodal, Sofia Carson, Laura Pausini, Tiziano Ferro, Zucchero, Giorgia, as well as his children Matteo and Virginia join him onstage.

As one of the most recognizable voices in the entertainment industry and revered by fans internationally, Andrea Bocelli has been entertaining audiences for 30 years, counting nearly 90 million records sold worldwide. In addition to his sold-out arena-sized concert events and record-breaking live-streams, Bocelli has shared his talents at many major events including the Olympic Games, the World Cup, and Global Citizen. He has earned a Golden Globe, seven Classical BRITs and seven World Music Awards, plus a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
We were happy to facilitate the grade completed by Steve Atkins, with online completed by Senior Online Editor Adam Sample and Senior Edit Assistant Alfie Mitchell, and final audio mix by Sound Supervisor Andy Coles on the documentary sections. We also performed QC checks and created all deliverables for the project. The project was edited by Reg Wrench, Pablo D’Ambrosi, and Dom Whitworth at our facility, where we hosted the offline edit.
