YUNGBLUD. Are You Ready, Boy?
September 3, 2025New feature documentary ‘Yungblud: Are you ready, boy?’, from Emmy and BAFTA winning Director Paul Dugdale, is a portrait of British Rock musician and songwriter Yungblud as he navigates a pivotal moment in his career. The film follows the behind the scenes recording of his recently released fourth album ‘Idols’ at the famed Hansa Studios in Berlin and features 12 live performances from the album.
Yungblud’s BRAT Productions produced the documentary, in association with Aldgate Pictures, with Producers Stefan Demetriou, Amy James and Adam Wood. The film had an international theatrical release from August 20th.
The film received positive feedback from audiences across the globe. NME described it as “An intimate look at what it takes to be a rockstar in 2025,” singing praises of the documentary’s glimpse into Yungblud’s journey.
The documentary was shot on a mixture of Arri 35 and 16mm film by cinematographers James Rhodes and Brett Turnbull, before being mastered in 4K.
