George Michael: The Faith Tour due for worldwide theatrical release later this year!
May 6, 2026George Michael: The Faith Tour takes never seen before footage from the original European leg of the faith tour in 1988. It is set for worldwide theatrical release later this year with remastered footage which has been regraded and re-mixed.
George Michael: The Faith Tour was shot at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy and has been restored from 35mm film from a 14 camera shoot which was captured over 2 nights. The project is a collaboration from George Michael Entertainment, Mercury Studios and Sony Music Entertainment. The project has been directed by Andy Morahan and David Austin. It has been produced by David Austin, Lucie Avery, Rosie Holley and Phillip Noel.
OnSight provided picture post-production services for the project, including digital remastering for theatrical release on xenon and laser projection with Colourist Steve Atkins. The digital remastering was overseen by Picture Supervisor Andy Lee, with Alfie Mitchell as Lead Technical Operator, Sam Langshaw as Edit Assistant and Oscar Snow Lobo as Imaging Assistant. All post-production was overseen by Senior Post Producer Jade Townsend.
