Girls Aloud takes us on their reunion tour!

November 19, 2024

Confetti showers, flying motorbikes, multiple costume changes, pyrotechnics and hit after glorious hit… Girls Aloud perform to crowds of thousands as they take ‘The Show’ on a tour of 30 dates across the UK and Ireland. Celebrating over 20 years of chart-topping success, they perform a high-octane set that includes Love Machine, Biology, Something Kinda Ooooh, I’ll Stand by You and the song that started it all, Sound of the Underground

Shot entirely in 4K, it’s an unforgettable, poptastic journey through their record-breaking career, made all the more poignant by emotional moments that pay tribute to their late bandmate Sarah Harding. In the words of the band themselves, it’s “a celebration of Sarah, our music and our incredible fans” – and one that captivates and honours the enduring legacy of one of pop’s most-loved groups, ever.

The Girls Aloud Show will air on ITV1 and ITVX on 17 November, and is released by Mercury Studios. It’s directed by Liz Clarke, produced by Becki Powers, with Creative Director Philip Noel, and Executive Producers Alice Webb, Marc Robinson, and Kelly Sweeney. The Director of Photography for the project was Nathaniel Hill, and it was edited by Kyle Smart.

“This show is a massive celebration of our journey over the last 22 years. It was a great chance for us to showcase our catalogue of music that we’re so proud of, and to celebrate and remind people of our incredible Sarah.” – Nicola

“It was pure joy and nostalgia at every show. It was amazing to look out at the crowd every night, especially in the moments when we all remembered Sarah together.” – Cheryl

“The Girls Aloud Show is a unique experience because there’s so much excitement and camaraderie in the room – we’re all in it together. Our fans got so creative with their costumes – they came as different eras of Girls Aloud.” – Nadine

“It’s exciting to think that anyone who didn’t manage to see The Girls Aloud Show when we toured the UK is going to have this chance to share it with us now.” – Kimberley

We had lots of fun on this project, which was coloured by Senior Colourist Emily Russil Saib, and mixed by Sound Supervisor Andy Coles. The grade, audio mix, QC, and deliverables were created for the 60 minute version for ITV, overseen by Post Producer Jade Townsend.
