Forever Young is available to watch in the US & Canada!

December 28, 2023

Forever Young is the story of 70-year-old Robyn (Diana Quick), a successful author frustrated by her dwindling readership and the fast approaching end of her career. However, when scientist Jim Petrak (Mark Jackson) turns up with a wonder drug, ‘the cure for regret’, that would allow her to become young again, she is faced with a crucial choice. Attracted by the prospect of a new lease of life, and the opportunity to reverse her greatest regret of not having children, Robyn must now convince her husband Oscar (Bernard Hill) who has no such regrets and refuses to take the drug.

The sci-fi romance is directed by Henk Pretorius, and produced by Llewelynn Greeff, who negotiated the deal on behalf of Dark Matter Studios with Lise Romanoff, CEO and Managing Director of Vision Films for international distribution, and is executive produced by Cassian Elwes and Gareth Jones.

We were delighted to deliver post production on this poignant film, with our Senior Colourist Andy Lee, On-Line Editor Andrew Fisun, and Senior Post Producer Jeff Halsey.

“After meeting Lise in LA for the festival screening, we immediately connected with her understanding of the film and the audience it will play to. This led us to a digital rollout to bring director Henk Pretorius’ timeless film to a sizable audience. This film was a true labor of love for our entire team, and we can’t wait for audiences to connect with its story and rich characters.” – Llewelynn Greeff, Producer

“What if you could live forever, younger, would you? This poignant film will really make audiences think, and the renowned international cast delivers world-class performances.” – Lise Romanoff, CEO and Managing Director of Vision Films

Filmed in England, Forever Young has won Industry Choice Award at the 2023 Dances With Films, and Best Feature Film at the 2023 Viva Texas Film Festival. It stars Diana Quick (Brideshead Revisited), Bernard Hill (The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King), Amy Tyger (Foundation), Mark Jackson (The Orville), Stephanie Beacham (Dynasty), Anna Wolf (The Unfamiliar), and Julian Glover (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade).
