Circle Square

Circle Square is a 40 x 7 minute preschool comedy, appearing daily on Milkshake, Channel 5 at 7.45am, starring Vanessa the purple dragon and her surprising neighbours (who include a yeti, a family of wizards and a pair of pine trees!). The series is all about neighbours on Circle Square Island helping each other out. Somebody needs Vanessa’s help today, but who will it be … ?

The cast includes Katy Brand, Kathryn Drysdale, Duaa Karim, and Shash Hira and series writers include Emma Boucher, Alex Collier, Nicole Davis, Isabel Fay, Evgenia Golubeva, Dilpreet Kaur Walia and head writer Myles McLeod and has original music by Tom Angell. 

The show is created by The Brothers McLeod, directed by Greg McLeod, executive produced by Erica Angell, Helen Brunsdon, Gary Timpson and Andrew Kavanagh. The series is a co-production with Kavaleer Productions, and was financed with support from Creative Europe, and the DCMS funded Young Audiences Content Fund which is managed by the BFI. 9 Story Media Group has acquired global distribution rights.
