Staged is back!
July 10, 2021Unbound are delighted to announce the launch of the pre-order campaign for Completely Staged, the complete scripts and official companion to lockdown’s hit TV show Staged. Publication is scheduled for 16th September 2021.
Staged season 2 premiered on BBC One on Monday 4th January and is now available on BBC iPlayer. David Tennant and Michael Sheen are joined by their partner actresses Georgia Tennant and Anna Lundberg, who play themselves, Simon Evans as himself, Lucy Eaton (Simon’s sister) and Nina Sosanya (Jo).
The new series is set to be just as relevant and funny as series 1, as Tennant and Sheen find out their ‘new normal’ and deal with their American agent Tom, played by Ben Schwartz.
The BBC has also promised that series two will also feature “a whole host of unexpected guests”.
“The series hopes to capture our shared feelings of frustration and confusion at a world not quite ready to re-open,” the BBC teases. “Moments that promise normality dashed before they can take hold. The tantalising prospect of comfort kept at bay.”
