December 22, 2020For several years OnSight has been supporting the London Film School (LFS) in providing insight and services around finishing post-production and especially around audio expertise.
Working with the LFS emerging creative talent, OnSight is investing in the industry future, helping the LFS film-makers hone their craft and engage directly with the UK industry.
This years’ technology developments have included running remote sound sessions via Source connect expanding the tools and experience of the students as well as demonstrating some real-world ‘needs must’ variation.
In particular OnSight has developed detailed post production sessions with our highly experienced Senior Colourist Andy Lee and Dubbing Mixer Andy Coles.
Peter Hollywood, Head of Editing at LFS, has been co-ordinating the student projects and sessions at OnSight. LFS students attend our post house to work on coursework, short documentaries and drama projects and we have often welcomed them back as Alumni for their short films and career projects and even in one case as a staff position.
It is always warming to meet the next new creatives in the industry and give them an opportunity to work on their films in a professional setting with experienced industry experts.
