SCI-FI-LONDON Film Festival

SCI-FI-LONDON is the UK’s leading genre event and an internationally recognised launch pad for genre movies.
The festival is now in its 9th year and will take place Wed 28th April – Mon 3rd May 2010 at The Apollo Piccadilly Circus Cinema, London’s most luxurious cinema. Each festival features at least a dozen UK premieres and in the last few years they had the first public screening of 28 Weeks Later and the world premiere of Bruce Dickinson’s Chemical Wedding.
Albino United

Marc Hoeferlin, Juan Reina and Barney Broomfield are the filmmakers behind Albino United. Shot by Barney Broomfield on a Panasonic P2 Varicam and coming soon to the True Stories strand on More4 and National Geographic, their film follows a team of Tanzanian albino football players as they use sport to try and dispel the myths that have lead to many albino killings.
For decades, the albinos of Africa - known as the 'tribe of ghosts', 'zeros zeros' or 'the invisibles' - have suffered appalling treatment at the hands of their own neighbours and are murdered for their body parts, which are believed to bring good fortune and cure all manner of ills

Los Angeles based Element Technica strive to make products as aesthetically pleasing as possible with the guiding design principle being functionality.
Jersey Boys in 3D

Pink Banana Studios have produced a 3D cinema ad for Jersey Boys, an internationally acclaimed hit musical based on the lives of one of the most successful 1960s rock 'n roll groups, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
The documentary-style musical opened on Broadway in 2005, before making its West End debut at London's Prince Edward Theatre in February 2008. It has gone on to win 28 Major awards worldwide, including the Olivier Award for best new musical. Pink Banana Studios have been working with AKA Promotions to use emerging digital and innovative platforms to promote the production.
From 3D to 4D

ONSIGHT camera technicians have just returned back from Angola, after assisting Lunatus SL on their recent 3D shoot for the Angolan Government.
The Republic of Angola commissioned production company Lunatus SL to produce a 4D experience promoting Angolan businesses for the upcoming Shanghia Expo.
