BSC camera evaluation 2009

08th July, 2009

July 2009 saw the first BSC Film and Digital Image Evaluation screening where On Sight's head of Engineering Richard Mills was asked to hold a talk to 400 BSC delegates in attendance.

Encompassing 18 different film and digital cameras, The BSC Film and Digital Image Evaluation 2009 was shot at Pinewood Studios in February and was designed to show an unbiased assessment of current camera technology available for shooting moving pictures for film or television.

This material provides information for the industry which will enable film makers to assess the options open to them in today’s ever changing world.

Axis Films supported the shoot by providing a Panasonic 3700 P2 Varicam, HD Hire porvided Sony HDCAM SR vtrs and the HD Lab provided technical services.

Opinion on the technical evaluation that was screened at the NFT is varied but whatever your personal choice of camera, there is a good chance it is in Axis Film's HD camera hire fleet. Call us on 020 7637 0888 to find out more. To see the 'Making Of' video click here
