Toast of London is back with kit from ONSIGHTDate: 3rd November, 2014

Rose D’or Award Winner Toast of London for Best Sitcom 2014 returns to Channel 4 for a second series this week. Produced by Objective Productions, it sees Steven Toast (Matt Berry) back in the heart of Soho’s theatre-land, doing his utmost to succeed as an actor with all his eccentricities. ONSIGHT has provided the cameras and equipment from the beginning.

The ONSIGHT team collaborated with DoP Pete Edwards again to capture the successful look and feel of the BAFTA and RTS-nominated comedy. Shot on location, the Canon C300 was selected for its mobility and dependability, together with ARRI Alura and Zeiss Ultra Prime lenses. Directed by Michael Cumming, the show involved Line Producer Jo Alloway, Producer Kate Daughton as well as Executive Producers Ben Farrell and Andrew Newman for Objective Productions.

Well loved characters, agent Jane Plough (Doon Mackichan) and flatmate Ed Howzer-Black (Robert Bathurst) are also joined by new faces. The 6 x 30’ episodes are co-written by Berry himself and scriptwriter Arthur Mathews.

Toast of London Series 2 airs every Monday night from 3 November 2014.
