Pear Cider and Cigarettes nominated for Best Animated Short Oscar Date: 24th January, 2017

From Passion Pictures and Executive Producer Cara Speller comes the first animated short from acclaimed graphic novelist Robert Valley. It tells the tale of a charismatic but self-destructive friend living on the edge. Amazing World of Gumball BAFTA Success Date: 9th January, 2017

The Amazing World of Gumball was the big winner at the Children's BAFTAs where the TV show took home two awards.

The animated series about a cat named Gumball Watterson won Best Writer and Best Animation.

 

It brought the Cartoon Network series to an all-time total to eight BAFTAs - having won four times in both categories.

Rapper Doc Brown hosted the ceremony, which took place at The Roundhouse in Camden, north London.

Into The Inferno - A Netflix Original Date: 10th December, 2016
