David Attenborough’s Natural History Museum Alive is the new groundbreaking film from Colossus Productions, a collaboration between Sky 3D and Atlantic Productions to produce innovative 3D projects. ONSIGHT is a proud facility partner, providing cameras and post for the project that sees the iconic presenter explore the museum, locked in at night to reveal a fascinating selection of extinct creatures brought back to life through CGI.
As part of the film's launch, London's landmark Natural History Museum hosted the world premiere on 11 December. The special night was attended by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Sir David Attenborough, key members of the production industry, Sky staff, Museum supporters, investors and ONSIGHT CEO Simon Craddock. The 3D film was screened, bringing to life dinosaurs, ice age beasts and giant reptiles, followed by a fascinating Q&A.

Topsy and Tim is the CBeebies’ first live action drama, produced by Darrall Macqueen. As the series’ camera facilitator, ONSIGHT congratulates Production on wrapping the shoot these past few days.
The production team wanted to make a show that would engage such a young audience and focus on the lead characters - five year-old twins. They therefore opted for a point-of-view filming style done from the children’s level. Everything was shot at a metre height and from a set especially built at Twickenham Studios, reflecting a real house location. ONSIGHT’s camera department supplied the cameras and accessories over 3 blocks of shooting. The Sony PMW-F3 was selected, recording to AJA Kia Pro Mini to secure the higher data rates for broadcast.

Based on the hit stage play, Breakfast with Jonny Wilkinson is a new film that revisits the memorable day when England took on Australia in the Rugby World Cup 2003. Its theatrical release marks the 10-year anniversary of England’s victory on 22 November 2013.
ONSIGHT provided full post production on the project for Breakfast Films Limited, directed by Simon Sprackling and produced by Rob Perren. The team managed the data captured in South London, supplying DIT equipment and offline facilities. DoP Jonathan Iles says, “The film was shot using the RED Epic, giving us the ability to shoot 5K but importantly, a lot of slow motion still at such a high resolution. ONSIGHT was there to help us in every step of the way, offering daily reports on rushes and round the clock assistance.”

Yonderland is the new original comedy series, premiering on Sky 1 HD from Sunday 10 November. The fantasy adventure is from the stars of Horrible Histories and involves a host of puppets. Produced by Working Title TV, ONSIGHT supplied the camera package to meet the filming requirements.
The story begins with Debbie dropping her five year old twins off for their first day of school. For the first time in five long years, she has her days entirely to herself, and by the time she’s cleaned the house from top to bottom and become frighteningly addicted to a daytime quiz show, she starts to think she may be going mad.
