Kingdom of Plants 3D nominated for BAFTA Craft Award & Televisual's Bulldog Awards

25th March, 2013

ONSIGHT is delighted to learn that Kingdom of Plants 3D has been nominated as part of the British Academy Television Craft Awards 2013. They recognise television’s top technical and behind-the-scenes talent.

Kingdom of Plants 3D is in the Best Photography – Factual category going to Tim Cragg, Robert Hollingworth and Tim Shepherd.  Produced by Atlantic Productions, the groundbreaking natural history documentary series is written and presented by David Attenborough for Sky.  ONSIGHT played an integral role by providing both the camera and post production facilities.  Our story can be read here.

The awards will be held in London on Sunday 28 April, hosted for a second year by British actor Steve Mangan. To see the full list of nominations, please visit http://awards.bafta.org/award/2013/tvcraft.

The awards excitement does not end there.  Televisual‘s annual Bulldogs is in its ninth year, celebrating the best British programmes of 2012.

Voting is open to the entire production community and Kingdom of Plants has been nominated twice under Best Documentary Series as well as Best Cinematography.  The results are announced in the May issue of Televisual, out on 8 May, and the winners' dinner takes place at The Hospital Club later that month.

Congratulations to the entire production team!
