Axis Films' 3D work nominated for RTS Innovation Award

The RTS Innovation Awards aim to recognise outstanding achievement in the development of new technologies in distribution, production and manipulation with Axis Films nominated for an award for their 3D work.

The award categories are designed to highlight the growing interdependence of technology and content, reaching out to new users and new ways of communicating.

Jeff Henry, Chair of the RTS Innovation Awards, said: "The standard this year has been exceptionally high. The shortlist of hopefuls is a testament to the outstanding level of innovative ideas currently within the media industry."

The RTS Innovation Awards will be presented on Tuesday 10 November 2009 at Bafta, with the event being sponsored by BBCBSkyBITVMicrosoft and Virgin Media Television
